HD Heated Grips

Avon Grips is proud to announce that our Heated Grips are official back and ready-for-purchase at a store near you. With our new and improved heated grips back on the market, we’d like to explain what happened that caused us to stop production two years ago.

         Harley Davidson is known for the output of power that the battery pushes, allowing customers to customize various electronics and luxuries onto their motorcycle to enhance the riding experience. With a few older models over the years, we started to notice increases in this power resulting in malfunctions to these electronics. These “surges” in power can cause a short circuit to anything that is connected to the alternator (grips, seat, radio, led lights, etc). Both of the wires included in our old heated grips were mainlined from the alternator to the grips, which resulted in malfunctions for a small percentage of customers. We couldn’t keep the grips on the market with this knowledge.

         With our new heated grips, we have included an AHG module to “trap” these surges as they occur. This ensures to the customer that they are receiving the highest quality heated grips on the market without the potential headache of a dysfunction or claiming a warranty. With cold weather just around the corner, it’s time for you to finally secure the pair of heated grips that you’ve wanted for all those years!
